Chickadee’s Cookie Class

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Chickadee's is here to help! In this 2-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, discuss the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).

You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you!

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each attendee gets 6 cookies, 4+ icing colors, optional sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

Please refer to email reminder for class date and time—we will begin promptly so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring a group - we have seating for up to 6 people in a small-group setting! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo! This class is designed for adults , but if you'd like to purchase an add-on kit for kids at home, you'll be able to teach them everything you learned at home!

The class will be held at Olde Tyme Marketplace in Madison, Indiana, located at 801 W Main St. Parking is pretty easy - there are plenty of public parking spaces in front of the building on Main St, along the east side on Vernon St., and designated spaces on the west side of the building in Olde Tyme Marketplace's private parking lot.

Tickets to this class will also include light refreshments and a select item from the OTM Pantry.
